PLANT ASSESSMENT

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

World class coaching for you and your team, on the gemba, to assess the “lean-ness” of your manufacturing business and factory. Using our proven assessment pack you’ll develop the skill, within the business, to periodically repeat the assessment to guide your lean transformation and feed your Hoshin (Improvement plan).

You’ll develop a deep grasp of the assessment, including the “what?” and “why?” of the categories, and items we assess, as well as objectively scoring the assessment. Specifically, we’ll cover 5 stages in this 3 day onsite (+ remote check-in course):

  • Preparation for you and for the Plant team, so that they are engaged and supportive

  • Doing the assessment – “what?” “where?” “who?” “how?” and “when?” to observe

  • Scoring and collecting the right evidence points for feedback later

  • How to review and feedback clearly and constructively

  • Setting the right priorities with the team to drive the business forward

All of this is learned by actually assessing your site in its current situation, under the guidance of our skilled coach.
